Quality Manager – Italy

About the role

Allegion is looking for a Quality Manager to lead and harmonise quality processes across its two Italian manufacturing sites. You will develop and execute a quality strategy that drives measurable business value, improves customer satisfaction and enhances profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Define, maintain and continuously improve processes ensuring product compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Participate in product design activities and establish quality standards and control methods.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, verify compliance, effectiveness and traceability.
• Develop policies, procedures and quality KPIs at the local level.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce defects, waste and the cost of poor quality.
• Train and develop quality personnel at each site.
• Analyse supplier non‑conformities, produce quality reports and drive corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, engineering, procurement, sales and supplier quality organisations.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Materials Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of quality‑management experience in a complex, multi‑site organisation.
• Proven track record with audits, certifications and cross‑functional improvement teams.
• Strong analytical, reporting and balanced‑scorecard skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently (30‑40%) between the two Italian sites.
