About the role

The RED (Resources Empowerment and Development) Program 2026 is a performance‑driven, merit‑based graduate scheme designed for ambitious engineers. Participants will rotate through three secondments across functional groups at Thermo Fisher’s pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Ferentino, gaining accelerated career exposure in engineering roles.

Key responsibilities

• Complete three distinct secondments in different functional teams, experiencing varied engineering environments.
• Contribute to process improvement projects and drive operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement and monitor process control techniques.
• Apply statistical analysis to support manufacturing quality and efficiency.
• Prepare for a permanent engineering position within key teams after the rotation period.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Management Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Motivated attitude with a passion for continuous growth.
• Ability to implement process improvements and drive operational excellence.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and process control techniques.
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry or international exposure is a plus.
