Reward Specialist

About the role

Reporting to the Reward Region Italy Manager, the Reward Specialist will support the design and execution of compensation and benefits strategies for Italy, ensuring alignment with Group policies and market competitiveness. The role combines analytical rigor with consultative support for HR and business partners in a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage participation in salary surveys, submit data on time and produce benchmark reports with recommendations.
• Analyse and validate salary proposals for hires and internal moves, ensuring policy compliance and internal equity.
• Coordinate the end‑to‑end annual salary review process, including budget definition, data loading in SuccessFactors and generation of review letters.
• Support the annual Short‑Term Incentive (STI) system from objective setting to payout calculation and framework evolution.
• Contribute to strategic projects such as EU Pay Transparency, acquisition integrations and policy harmonisation.
• Oversee Production Bonus calculations and define the Flexible Benefits offering in collaboration with HR Admin, Payroll and HRIS teams.
• Assist with expatriate population management in partnership with the Group Expat Unit and local Payroll.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Statistics or related field; HR Management or Compensation & Benefits specialization is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, preferably in a structured multinational setting.
• Strong knowledge of Italian employment, tax and social security regulations related to compensation.
• Familiarity with job evaluation systems such as Korn Ferry, Mercer or Willis Towers Watson.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SuccessFactors (HRIS) and advanced Excel.
