About the role
Join the loudest store in the mall! We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers as a Hot Topic Sales Associate.
Key responsibilities
- Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages repeat visits.
- Cover the sales floor zone and maintain visual standards.
- Operate the register, process transactions and promote add‑on sales using BOPIS and curbside pickup.
- Assist with planogram changes, store maps, wall and fixture merchandising.
- Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
- Help prevent theft and misuse of “spells” by working with store management.
- Maintain an organized stock room and keep the store tidy.
- Collaborate with teammates to achieve store goals.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a retail environment.
- Passion for music and pop culture.
- At least 16 years of age.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 50 lb.
- Capability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and handle packing/unpacking tasks.
