SAP Release Manager – S/4HANA RISE & ALM

About the role

The partner company seeks an experienced SAP Release Manager to govern and orchestrate release activities across complex, enterprise‑scale S/4HANA RISE landscapes in Italy. You will ensure that every change, transport, and deployment is delivered in a controlled, compliant, and predictable manner across development, QA, staging, and production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end SAP release cycles across S/4HANA RISE environments, coordinating Dev, QA, Staging, and Production deployments.
• Oversee SAP transport management, including sequencing, dependency handling, and execution.
• Lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes and enforce change governance policies.
• Utilize SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM/CTS+), SAP Cloud ALM, and related ALM platforms for change and transport management.
• Coordinate release calendars, cut‑over planning, and deployment scheduling across multiple teams.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, audit controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with development, basis, testing, security, PMO, and business teams to confirm release readiness.
• Monitor release risks, dependencies, and issues, applying mitigation and escalation strategies.
• Support regression testing, UAT execution, and release validation before production rollout.
• Maintain comprehensive release documentation, audit trails, approvals, and deployment records.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance release efficiency, automation, and governance maturity.
• Integrate release and change management processes with ServiceNow, Jira, and other enterprise tools.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in SAP Release Management within large‑scale enterprise environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA RISE landscapes across multiple environments.
• Deep expertise in SAP Solution Manager (ALM), including ChaRM and CTS/CTS+.
• Proven ability to manage compliance frameworks such as SOX and audit requirements.
