Senior Accountant – Finance & Reporting Specialist

About the role

Felia is seeking a meticulous Senior Accountant to become the backbone of its finance team. You will own daily bookkeeping, drive financial reporting, and ensure flawless statutory compliance while supporting the company’s digital evolution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the General Ledger, focusing on cost‑center accounting and analytical dimensions.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly group closings and year‑end financial statements in accordance with Local GAAP and IFRS.
• Handle VAT calculations, professional withholding tax (Ritenute d’Acconto) and all statutory filings on time.
• Oversee ledger account controls, inter‑company reconciliations and act as the primary contact for external and statutory auditors.
• Support implementation and optimisation of ERP modules such as e‑invoicing and order management.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and keep corporate books and social registers up to date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Proven experience in a senior accounting role within a structured corporate environment.
• Strong analytical mindset, extreme attention to detail and ability to meet strict fiscal deadlines.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of local tax regulations, compliance and accounting standards.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS and VAT compliance.
