Senior Audit Manager

About the role

The Senior Audit Manager will report to the Group Internal Audit Officer and lead the delivery of the annual risk‑based internal audit plan for the Group. Based in Milan, the role involves overseeing audits across finance, operations and IT/cybersecurity, and travelling to international sites as required.

Key responsibilities

• Design, oversee and ensure timely execution of audit plans covering financial, operational and IT/cybersecurity engagements, leveraging third‑party specialists when needed.
• Identify emerging business, market and regulatory risks and advise functions and senior leaders on upcoming legal and reporting changes.
• Promote the use of predictive models, automated testing solutions and data‑analytics techniques to assess processes and generate actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate with other control functions and assurance providers to strengthen risk identification and control oversight.
• Deliver special projects that add measurable value and ensure compliance with the International Professional Practices Framework of the IIA.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, engineering or related discipline.
• 10–12 years of progressive experience in finance, operations and internal audit within large, complex global industrial organisations.
• Knowledge of SOX, Italian Legislative Decree 262/2005 and IFRS reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to work in dynamic, fast‑paced environments and adapt audit approaches as needed.
