Senior Construction Manager Italy

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead the delivery of new restaurant and store openings across Italy for a fast‑growing international QSR brand. Reporting to the Expansion & Construction Director, you will coordinate engineering firms, contractors and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the company’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction projects and new store/restaurant openings throughout Italy.
• Coordinate external engineering firms, contractors, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure project timelines, milestones and opening schedules are achieved.
• Secure all required permits and licenses.
• Manage CAPEX, cost control and monitor budget deviations.
• Track construction progress from technical and operational perspectives.
• Guarantee execution quality and compliance with company construction standards.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Operations, Expansion and external partners.
• Identify and resolve on‑site issues in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field.
• Approximately 15 years of experience in construction, site management or project execution.
• Hands‑on construction background, preferably from a contractor or construction company.
• Experience managing retail, supermarket, QSR, hospitality or multi‑site openings.
• Proven ability to coordinate contractors, suppliers, budgets and project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of permits, construction processes and site operations.
• Fluent Italian and professional English; Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Italy.
• Pragmatic, execution‑oriented and strong problem‑solving skills.
