Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (Italian Speaking)

About the role

Salesforce is hiring Senior Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy complex agentic AI solutions inside enterprise customer environments. The role partners closely with a Deployment Strategist to own outcomes from architecture to production, mentoring engineers and influencing product roadmaps.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design, build and deployment of agentic AI solutions for strategic customers, including architecture decisions and production handoff.
• Develop and ship agent logic, tool calls, multi‑agent orchestration, deterministic guardrails, and integration patterns on the Agentforce platform.
• Own the data lifecycle: model design, processing pipelines, and data readiness across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer platforms.
• Resolve technical blockers such as data integration failures, model deployment issues, and performance regressions.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and reusable asset creation.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience in enterprise AI, cloud, or SaaS environments.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Business‑level proficiency in Italian and English.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• Experience integrating LLMs into production using frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce platforms: Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
• Proficiency with data platforms like Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude, Vibes).
