Senior Legal Consultant – Legal Research Process Transformation

About the role

Innodata is looking for a Senior Legal Consultant to lead the transformation of its legal research processes as part of the Italy L&R Prime 2.0 rollout. You will work closely with business stakeholders, legal research teams, vendors and implementation partners to redesign workflows for a new automated platform.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of current legal research, amendment, enrichment and editorial workflows.
• Document existing processes, handoffs, inputs, outputs, exceptions and dependencies.
• Analyse vendor processes, identify gaps, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Map current‑state processes to future‑state Prime 2.0 automated workflows.
• Define future operating models, roles, responsibilities and process ownership.
• Partner with technology and vendor teams to ensure requirements are reflected in the implementation.
• Develop a structured transition roadmap and facilitate workshops in Italian and English.
• Support change‑management activities to help teams adopt the new system.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in business process consulting, legal research operations or managed‑services transition.
• Deep domain expertise in legal research, legal publishing or regulatory content.
• Proven ability to assess complex processes and design future‑state operating models.
• Fluent communication skills in both Italian and English.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and analytical capabilities.
