Senior Professional Services Consulting Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Consulting Engineer to join our Professional Services team and drive the successful adoption of Redis technology within customers’ enterprise environments, both on‑premise and in the cloud. As a senior professional services consultant you will design, develop and deliver customized Redis‑powered solutions that address business and data‑service needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop technical expertise with Redis, Redis Enterprise and Redis Modules and serve as a subject matter expert for customers.
• Help customers meet technology and business requirements using Redis Enterprise and related solutions.
• Provide hands‑on technical implementation services, including end‑to‑end testing in customer environments.
• Assist customers with Redis development projects using Java, C#, Python and Go.
• Collaborate with customers’ technical teams (architects, developers, PMOs, C‑level) to ensure successful production deployments.
• Work with the Sales organization to create account strategies and identify new business opportunities.
• Deliver remote and onsite product training in a professional, educational manner.
• Use customer feedback to improve product and technical materials and inform Product Management and R&D.

Required profile

• 5+ years of post‑sales consulting experience for enterprise software, preferably database engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with client‑library and server‑side code development, RESTful APIs and Linux.
• Experience with scalable, highly available distributed systems; Docker and Kubernetes are a plus.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Strong technical, communication and time‑management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% and work flexibly from office or home.
