Senior Project Manager – Insurance Technology

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex application, integration and AI‑driven technology projects within a commercial insurance environment. Based in Milan, you will drive initiatives from conception through delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage mid‑sized to large IT initiatives independently, covering application development, system integration and AI solutions.
• Apply Waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery approaches to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Oversee data pipelines and automation technologies that support insurance operations.
• Maintain project and portfolio management oversight, tracking scope, budget and risks.
• Translate technical concepts into clear business terms for stakeholders.
• Build and sustain strong relationships across matrixed teams and external partners.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience managing complex technology projects.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and project management methodologies.
• 3+ years supporting commercial insurance environments.
• Proven leadership, analytical and organizational abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in fast‑paced, high‑pressure settings.
