Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager acts as the CEO of complex, high‑value automation programmes across EMEA, accountable for success, quality and strategic impact. You will drive projects from concept to completion, aligning customer expectations, contractual commitments and organisational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead initiation, planning and execution of strategic automation projects, defining scope, objectives and deliverables.
• Develop governance structures, business cases and project charters to secure stakeholder alignment.
• Build integrated project plans using advanced project‑management tools, manage schedules, resources and critical paths.
• Foster collaboration across cross‑functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of inter‑dependent tasks.
• Establish and maintain trust‑based relationships with customers and internal stakeholders; create communication plans and provide regular updates.
• Support negotiation and management of vendor contracts, oversee change orders and ensure compliance.
• Develop and control detailed project budgets, track costs, analyse variances and implement corrective actions.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, escalating critical issues when necessary.
