Site Manager

About the role

Tecnimont is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead construction operations on international EPC projects. The role reports to the Project Manager and the Construction Department Manager, acting as the company’s on‑site representative to clients, subcontractors and authorities. You will be responsible for delivering the project safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Report functionally to the Project Manager and hierarchically to the Construction Department Manager.
• Represent Tecnimont to the client, subcontractors and local authorities on site.
• Manage all site activities, ensuring compliance with HSE policies, schedules, costs and quality.
• Define the construction approach and develop detailed construction schedules.
• Co‑operate in subcontractor selection, award contracts and prepare technical evaluations.
• Implement the Tecnimont HSE policy and safety management system on site.
• Activate organizational and logistic aspects of the site and allocate resources in agreement with relevant departments.
• Manage the client contract according to the Project Manager’s guidelines.
• Oversee site subcontractors through site management personnel.
• Organise procurement of locally purchased materials.
• Ensure continuity between construction completion and pre‑commissioning to optimise the project schedule.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to Head Office and the client.
• Implement corrective actions to avoid interruptions, reduce delays, control costs and produce the final site report.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of proven experience in EPC construction site management.
• Solid knowledge of construction planning, cost control and site execution.
• Strong HSE awareness and experience with safety management systems.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving and results‑orientation.
