Software Engineer / Developer – Web Solutions

About the role

STAM is seeking a motivated Software Engineer/Developer to join its Digital Solutions Business Area in Genoa. You will work on the full software development life‑cycle of web‑based solutions for clients across energy, infrastructure and industry sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications, covering both frontend and backend tasks.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC, from requirements analysis to testing and deployment.
• Prepare technical proposals and contribute to R&D&I activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design system architecture and integration.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Up to three years of experience in software development (not mandatory).
• Experience with IT projects in energy, infrastructure or industrial domains is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Ability to create responsive web interfaces.
• Proficiency in Java or Python.
• Knowledge of MySQL or another relational database.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with testing and validation processes.
