Software Engineer – Traffic Simulation Platform

About the role
HBK is seeking a passionate Software Engineer to advance VI-WorldSim, our cutting‑edge traffic management simulation platform. You will work on realistic agent behavior and mobility system improvements, collaborating with a global team of technology experts.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the evolution of the agent simulation module within VI-WorldSim.
- Optimize and maintain existing C/C++ and Python code for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team to design and implement new features.
- Develop and maintain interfaces that comply with ASAM standards such as OpenScenario and OpenDrive.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of agent simulation techniques.
- Familiarity with ASAM standards (OpenScenario / OpenDrive).
- Solid foundation in vehicle dynamics and control system design.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming.
