Strategy & Operations Manager

About the role

Vial is seeking a Strategy & Operations Manager to drive the scaling of its hyper‑scalable biotech platform. This high‑ownership, remote position partners directly with senior leadership to translate complex challenges into clear decisions and rapid execution.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to define, pressure‑test, and execute firm‑level strategy.
• Identify high‑leverage operational problems, analyze data, and design solutions that improve speed, quality, or cost.
• Build and scale decision‑making tools, including dashboards, lightweight AI workflows, and internal operating tools.
• Drive cross‑functional execution across Clinical Ops, Product, Engineering, and other teams.
• Create executive‑ready narratives through memos, dashboards, and presentations.
• Define best practices, operating rhythms, and scalable processes as the company grows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in finance, operations, strategy, or analytics.
• Background in consulting, investment banking, or startup S&O/BizOps roles is preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical mindset with an entrepreneurial outlook.
• Experience in fast‑moving startup environments is a plus.
