The Switchboard Attendant at Orient Express Venezia serves as the primary point of contact for all telephone communications, embodying the brand's heritage of elegance and bespoke service. This position ensures that every call, message, and guest request is handled with discretion and polished professionalism, contributing to an elevated guest experience in a luxury hotel setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all incoming and outgoing calls with poise, ensuring each interaction reflects the prestige of Orient Express.
• Accurately route calls to guest suites, hotel departments, and senior staff while maintaining a courteous tone.
• Provide personalized guest services such as wake‑up calls, message delivery, and special communication requests, respecting confidentiality.
• Respond calmly to emergency situations (medical, fire, security) following established luxury hospitality protocols.
• Act as the central communication hub, offering curated information on hotel services, signature experiences, and exclusive Venetian offerings.
