Team Leader – Field Service Technicians (Biogas Sector)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to oversee a group of 3–5 field service technicians working on biogas plants across Italy. The role blends hands‑on technical work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and continuous improvement of our field operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, organise and develop a team of field service technicians.
• Plan and coordinate field assignments, balancing resource availability and priorities.
• Perform maintenance, repair and installation of mechanical and electrical components of biogas plants.
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults, handling customer complaints and warranty cases.
• Act as primary technical contact for customers, providing on‑site and remote support.
• Monitor and optimise service processes, prepare reports and collaborate with internal departments.

Required profile

• Technical background in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering.
• Proven field‑service experience, preferably in biogas or renewable energy.
• Leadership experience or strong potential to lead a team.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer‑relationship skills.
• Good proficiency in Italian and English; German is a plus.
