About the role

Greif is seeking a motivated Mecatronic Technician to join its manufacturing team. You will support production by maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment, ensuring reliable operation and safety across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical machines.
• Follow all plant safety policies and participate in safety, housekeeping, Operational Excellence, and Lean Manufacturing programs.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and inspect equipment functionality.
• Help troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and conduct routine maintenance and safety checks.
• Prepare and submit maintenance reports as required.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0‑1 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment.
• Ability to operate machines, hand‑tools, and plant equipment safely.
• Willingness to follow directions from supervisors and senior colleagues.
• Basic understanding of job procedures is advantageous.
