Training Education Consultant

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Training Education Consultant to define and execute the regional Training & Education (T&E) strategy. The role will align educational initiatives with marketing objectives, customer needs, and priority technologies, driving clinical adoption and field performance across Western Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the regional T&E strategy, ensuring alignment with marketing goals and customer requirements.
• Design structured educational pathways that support procedural adoption, clinician progression, and field capability.
• Own and deliver hands‑on training programs, managing training capacity and utilization.
• Identify capability gaps in collaboration with field teams and translate them into scalable, high‑impact solutions.
• Build and manage relationships with faculty, key opinion leaders, and training centres to ensure high‑quality program delivery.
• Lead planning and execution of clinical training, workshops, and blended learning experiences.
• Manage T&E budgets, project timelines, and performance metrics, using data‑driven insights for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, healthcare regulations, and quality standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in training, education, sales enablement, or capability development within MedTech, healthcare, or a surgical environment.
• Preferred experience with cranial & spine technologies and a strong understanding of surgical procedures and clinical pathways.
• Proven ability to design and implement structured educational pathways and competency‑based learning solutions.
• Willingness to travel across Western Europe for at least 50% of working time.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and influence stakeholders in a matrix environment.
• Experience working with faculty, key opinion leaders, training centres, and hospital stakeholders, with solid knowledge of compliance and governance requirements.
• Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
