Valeda Territory Manager

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Valeda Territory Manager to drive adoption of its innovative Valeda treatment platform across Italy. The role focuses on new account acquisition, activation, and sustained utilization within the surgical medical retina business.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across priority retina clinics, ophthalmology groups, and strategic accounts.
• Lead the full customer engagement journey from prospecting and value‑based selling through negotiation, contracting, installation, and activation.
• Develop and execute account activation plans to accelerate clinic onboarding, reduce time to first treatment, and increase patient flow.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Technical Service, and Commercial Operations to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Utilize CRM tools, sales analytics, and territory insights to manage pipeline health, forecast performance, and achieve device placement and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of successful experience in medical device sales or healthcare business development.
• Proven ability to prospect, build strategic relationships, develop value‑based business cases, negotiate and close deals.
• Fluent in Italian and English, with strong analytical and business acumen.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
