Young Learners Senior Teacher

About the role

International House Milan & San Donato is looking for an experienced Young Learners Senior Teacher to join its Academic Management team. The role combines high‑level classroom teaching with academic leadership, supporting the growth of the Young Learner department across its Milan locations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons to children and young learners in both Milan and San Donato centres.
• Collaborate with the Director of Studies and Academic Management to maintain and raise academic standards.
• Mentor and coach fellow teachers, providing feedback and professional development support.
• Contribute to curriculum design, assessment planning and quality assurance processes.
• Participate in school events and occasional Saturday sessions as required by the academic calendar.

Required profile

• Significant experience teaching young learners.
• Relevant teaching qualification such as CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL or equivalent.
• Fluent English (CEFR C2 or equivalent).
• Strong interest in mentoring colleagues and upholding academic quality.
• Legal right to work in the EU.
