Account Manager – Customer Success & Growth (Remote, Italy)

About the role
We are seeking a founding Account Manager to shape and lead our post‑sale customer success function in Italy. In this remote‑first position you will design the entire customer journey—from onboarding to renewal—while partnering with innovative go‑to‑market teams across the tech sector.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the post‑sale customer journey, covering onboarding, activation, renewal and expansion.
- Own a portfolio of strategic customers, acting as a trusted advisor and long‑term partner.
- Drive net revenue retention by identifying and closing upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
- Lead renewal conversations with commercial confidence, managing churn risk proactively.
- Collaborate with enablement and product teams to maximize adoption and value extraction.
- Serve as the voice of the customer, feeding insights back into product and strategy.
- Build and execute quarterly account plans to exceed retention and expansion targets.
- Contribute to a strong cross‑functional, customer‑centric culture.
Required profile
- Proven experience in Account Management, Customer Success or similar post‑sale roles within SaaS or B2B environments.
- Strong ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including C‑level executives.
- Demonstrated success in driving renewals, retention and revenue expansion for enterprise accounts.
- Commercial acumen with a track record of identifying growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex ideas.
- Highly proactive, self‑driven and comfortable working in a fast‑paced remote setting.
- Curiosity and passion for understanding customer needs and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, builder‑type roles where processes are still evolving.
