Accountant (Maternity Leave Replacement)

About the role

Ubisoft is seeking an Accountant to cover a maternity leave in its Milan office (Assago). Working within the Accounting and Cost Controlling team, you will support daily financial operations and ensure compliance with Italian tax and reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Process third‑party invoices, manage SDI transmission and VAT treatment.
• Prepare quarterly LIPE submissions and monthly Intrastat declarations.
• Provide data for VAT returns and annual tax certification for independent contractors.
• Handle payroll entries, social charge and TFR reconciliations.
• Perform monthly bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Record accruals, provisions and allocate costs according to accounting principles.
• Manage expense reports, fixed‑asset accounting and depreciation.
• Conduct balance‑sheet reconciliations and support internal and external audits.
• Archive accounting documentation in line with legal requirements and assist other departments.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accounting or a degree in Economics.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Proficient use of Excel.
• Strong command of English.
