About the role
The Rome City Institute seeks an Adjunct Professor to teach PSYC 201 – Introduction to Psychology during the Fall 2026 semester. This part‑time position involves delivering lectures and facilitating classroom discussions for undergraduate students.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver two weekly 90‑minute lectures (Monday and Wednesday, 17:00‑18:30).
- Develop course materials, including slides, reading lists, and assessment tools.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, and exams.
- Provide office hours for student consultation and academic support.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology.
- Relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
- Strong command of English for instruction.
Required skills
- Effective public speaking and lecture delivery.
- Curriculum design and assessment creation.
