Advanced Workflow Specialists Manager

About the role

The Application Workflow Specialists Manager leads a team of Advanced Workflow Specialists to deliver custom‑tailored value propositions across the customer journey. Working remotely for the EMEA region, you will support scientific and application requests, maximize sales revenue, and help shape market strategy for Leica Microsystems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Advanced Workflow Specialists, ensuring optimal resource use and alignment with market demands.
• Enable the AWS team to support the sales force with best‑in‑class demonstrations, application support, and product knowledge.
• Accelerate customer onboarding, drive advocacy, and contribute to account development to increase win rates and market share.
• Provide market intelligence on trends, new applications, technologies, analysis workflows, competition and customer needs; support creation of targeted application notes.
• Translate EMEA regional strategy into actionable plans, monitor execution and adjust as needed.
• Coach direct reports through career discussions, development plans, and structured immersion and training programs for new hires.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading technical or application‑focused teams.
• Strong understanding of scientific and application support within life sciences, diagnostics or biotechnology.
• Ability to gather and analyse market intelligence and translate insights into actionable initiatives.
• Excellent coaching and development skills for staff growth and integration.
• Comfortable working remotely across the EMEA region and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
