Airport Development Manager – EU

About the role

easyJet is seeking an Airport Development Manager to lead its European airport portfolio from Milan. The role combines commercial negotiation, cost optimisation and network planning to enhance the airline’s performance across key airports.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute short‑, medium‑ and long‑term strategies to reduce airport charges and improve cost efficiency.
• Lead commercial negotiations with airport authorities, securing incentives and favourable terms.
• Collaborate with network planning, operations and finance teams to support route performance and growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with airport operators, tourism boards and government bodies.
• Assist new route development by unlocking funding, marketing support and strategic partnerships.
• Represent easyJet in airport consultations and regulatory discussions.
• Monitor financial performance against targets and deliver agreed savings.
• Ensure robust contract management, including diversion agreements and service specifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in aviation, airlines, airports or related travel industry.
• Strong understanding of airport operations, charges and commercial agreements.
• Ability to work with regulators, tourism boards and internal network planning teams.
• Commercially driven mindset with a focus on cost savings and network growth.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
