Application Engineer – Waste Treatment Solutions

About the role

As an Application Engineer at Anaergia, you will design and propose customized waste‑treatment solutions that meet client needs while maximizing plant profitability. You will work closely with the global Chief Engineer and commercial teams to deliver technically sound and cost‑effective offers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop conceptual designs, budgets, and business plans for proposals in line with company guidelines.
• Create offers based on standard designs, adapting them with verified variants when required.
• Size systems, estimate CAPEX and OPEX, and ensure cost accuracy.
• Coordinate design approvals with the global Chief Engineer and executive department.
• Maintain and update the offer and cost databases.
• Gather feedback from existing Anaergia plants and benchmark competitor solutions.
• Support customers through training and communication plans.

Required profile

• Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum five years of experience as an Application Engineer or Proposal Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of anaerobic digestion processes and waste‑treatment technologies.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
