About the role

The ASPIRE Engineering & Technology track is a two‑year emerging talent program designed for recent graduates and early‑career engineers who are passionate about technology and innovation. Participants rotate through multiple engineering assignments, receive intensive technical training, and work on business‑critical projects across Baker Hughes’ global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Complete four 6‑month rotations (or two 6‑month rotations plus a 1‑year assignment) within the Engineering & Technology function.
• Engage in structured career‑development activities, receiving coaching and mentoring.
• Undertake formal engineering and technology training relevant to Baker Hughes.
• Network globally, lead initiatives with peers, and interact with senior business leaders.
• Solve critical business challenges as part of cross‑functional, mission‑based teams.
• Participate in international assignments and experiences.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical, Electronics, Control, Chemical, Energy engineering or a related discipline (or up to 3 years of relevant work experience).
• Demonstrated academic excellence.
• Internship or equivalent experience in a technical/engineering area.
• Strong analytical approach to problem‑solving and a passion for engineering.
• Geographical mobility – locations may vary.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Legal entitlement to work in Italy.
