Assistant Manager - I Gigli, Hollister

About the role

Abercrombie & Fitch is hiring an Assistant Manager for its Hollister store at I Gigli in Campi Bisenzio. The role combines business strategy, operations, creativity and people management: driving sales through customer service, overseeing daily store operations, and leading the team from recruitment and training to engagement and development. The company promotes from within.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing routines.
• Supervise the sales floor and stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth operations.
• Handle staffing and scheduling, and manage payroll.
• Train and develop non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness while driving sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyse reporting to inform decisions, protect store assets and run inventory control.
• Operate register and point-of-sale systems and fulfill omnichannel orders.
• Represent the brand and embody company culture and values.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Fluency in English and Italian (CEFR B2).
• Strong customer focus, knowledge of current fashion trends and a strong work ethic.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, coaching ability, initiative and confidence.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks, stay detail-oriented and work in a fast-paced environment.
