Assistant Store Manager – Full-time (Rome, GA)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations at our Rome, GA location. This full‑time role involves overseeing store activities, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring the store meets its sales and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling assets, inventory, sales statistics and expenses.
• Develop and execute action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Assume full responsibility for the store in the manager’s absence, including supervising staff and handling administrative duties.
• Participate in recruiting, training, evaluating and directing employees across all departments.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and promote merchandise and services.
• Uphold all company policies, procedures and visual standards.
• Protect company assets by following internal control procedures and reporting potential fraud risks.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of all product areas within the store.
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Ability to supervise staff, resolve problems and make decisions independently.
• Good organizational skills and attention to inventory and sales trends.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including peak periods.
