About the role
Perry & Villarreal, LLP is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its education‑law practice. You will work closely with a team dedicated to supporting local educational agencies and advancing student‑centered outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel and representation in student and special‑education matters.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and other documents.
- Collaborate with attorneys, staff, and client agencies to develop case strategies.
- Stay current on education‑law developments and regulatory changes.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years of experience as a licensed attorney, preferably in education law.
- Demonstrated passion for education‑law issues and a commitment to student advocacy.
- Strong organizational abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to think creatively and contribute to a positive team culture.
Required skills
- Excellent legal research and writing capabilities.
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and communicate solutions clearly.
