Associate Designer

About the role

RH is expanding its design ecosystem to create luxury spaces that reflect its global taste leadership. As an Associate Designer you will deliver high‑end interior design services to walk‑in clients in an RH Gallery, collaborating closely with Lead Designers and Gallery leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a luxury experience through RH interior design services.
• Execute the RH design ethos for residential projects, from small‑scale rooms to large‑scale spaces.
• Produce brand‑appropriate design presentations, space plans, and product selections.
• Manage the full client journey, including consultations, deliveries, and site visits.
• Support fiscal goals and uphold RH’s visual and quality standards.

Required profile

• 2+ years of design experience in a design firm or high‑end furniture/luxury retail.
• Degree in Art, Architecture, Interior Design or a related field (preferred).
• Professional portfolio demonstrating interior design work.
• Hands‑on interior installation experience (preferred).
• Strong artistic ability, including hand rendering and sketching (preferred).
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for building a thriving interior design business.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with space‑planning and rendering programs.
• Strong hand‑rendering and sketching capabilities.
• Proficiency with Mac operating system, iOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
