Automotive Design Engineer

About the role

RE:LAB is seeking an Automotive Design Engineer to join its multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to the creation of vehicle components and systems, working from concept definition through detailed design in a complex, high‑quality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive mechanical components and assemblies.
• Create and manage 3D models and technical drawings using CAD tools.
• Support concept development, feasibility studies, and detailed design activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical consistency and product integration.
• Participate in design reviews and technical alignment sessions.
• Prepare technical documentation and project deliverables.
• Support product development throughout the engineering lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into design solutions.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• CATIA V5 for 3D modeling and technical design.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and creation of technical drawings.
• Experience with PLM tools (nice to have).
• 3D modeling expertise.
