B1/B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Rome/Flexible Base

About the role

We are looking for experienced B1 or B1/B2 licensed aircraft engineers to join a leading commercial aviation maintenance organisation in Italy. The role involves certifying maintenance work on a modern Airbus and Boeing fleet, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Certify scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities.
• Perform troubleshooting and defect rectification.
• Carry out line and/or base maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with EASA Part‑145 regulations.
• Complete accurate technical documentation and maintenance records.
• Support AOG and aircraft recovery operations.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance.

Required profile

• Valid EASA Part‑66 B1 or B1/B2 licence.
• Minimum two type ratings (A220, A320 family, A350 or B787).
• Recent certifying experience on commercial aircraft.
• Strong knowledge of EASA Part‑145 requirements.
• Good level of English.
• Flexibility for shift work, including nights.
