Business Controller – Finance & Controlling

About the role

MINT is seeking a Business Controller to support its budgeting, forecasting, planning and closing activities. Reporting to the Controlling Supervisor, you will work closely with accounting specialists and external fiscal consultants to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the full monthly, half‑yearly and yearly closing process, including P&L preparation by cost centre and business unit.
• Prepare balance‑sheet, cash‑flow statements and calculate accruals, provisions and work‑in‑progress.
• Support consolidation of financial statements and inter‑company reconciliation.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, business‑plan and cash‑management preparation.
• Perform variance analysis across actual, budget and forecast figures.
• Monitor profitability, drive cost‑control initiatives and implement cost‑saving measures.
• Prepare monthly management reports for the Board of Directors.
• Participate in finance transformation projects and update internal procedures.
• Assist with audit documentation and financial due‑diligence activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a controlling or finance role, preferably in audit, SaaS, digital, media or IT software environments.
• Degree in Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles for balance‑sheet and income‑statement preparation.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite.
• Familiarity with Oracle NSPB.
