Business Developer – Industry (Milan)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Business Developer to lead and grow our Industry business unit in Milan. You will act as an intrapreneur, shaping client relationships and driving revenue within the engineering consulting sector.

Key responsibilities

• Build and develop a client portfolio in the Industry sector.
• Conduct phone prospecting and in‑person meetings to acquire new business.
• Analyse client challenges and propose tailored consulting solutions.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention rates.
• Promote Abylsen’s three engagement models: technical assistance, service centre, and work package.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to recruit top consulting engineers.
• Interview, select, and onboard high‑potential consultants.
• Manage, support, and retain your team through active career follow‑up.
• Drive team engagement and performance.
• Oversee profitability of the business unit and monitor performance indicators.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Business.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Proven track record in business development and client acquisition.
