Business Development Manager – Beauty Category (Milan)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead our beauty category procurement on the SHEIN platform. The role focuses on building and managing relationships with wholesalers and distributors across the EU to secure competitive pricing and reliable inventory for top‑brand beauty products.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess potential beauty suppliers, leveraging existing networks to expand the product portfolio.
• Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities and contract terms to enable trial purchases and long‑term bulk agreements.
• Analyse EU beauty market trends, forecast demand and develop procurement strategies aligned with sales targets.
• Collaborate with global procurement, logistics and cross‑functional teams to optimise supply‑chain efficiency and monitor supplier performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of procurement, business development or vendor‑management experience in the beauty industry.
• Established network of wholesalers and distributors within the EU.
• Deep understanding of EU beauty wholesale processes and ability to engage suppliers quickly.
• Strong negotiation capabilities and strategic planning skills for both small‑scale and large‑scale purchases.
