Business Development Representative – EMEA

About the role

Docker is looking for a results‑oriented Business Development Representative to drive the acquisition of commercial licenses across the EMEA region. You will work remotely with a globally distributed team, using a suite of sales tools to identify, qualify and hand‑off high‑potential prospects to account executives.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect existing Docker users who show a propensity to purchase commercial licenses.
• Identify customer needs, challenges and interest in Docker’s products.
• Schedule discovery meetings and achieve targets for qualified prospects and new opportunities.
• Respond to inbound inquiries and qualify leads.
• Deliver a strong first impression at every touchpoint, adding value for prospects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to share feedback and support team development.

Required profile

• Fluent English; additional German, French or Spanish is a plus.
• 1+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of success.
• Proactive, driven and detail‑oriented with high integrity.
• Excellent phone, writing and listening skills.
• Willingness to learn Docker’s industry, use cases and value propositions.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
