Business Manager I Special Projects

About the role

Balich Wonder Studio, an integrated entertainment group producing live experiences such as ceremonies, immersive shows, events, brand and destination experiences, is looking for a Business Manager for its Special Projects division in Milan. The role reports to the Business Director and focuses on Destination Experiences and Original Shows, from immersive experiences to ticketed productions. It combines business development, client relationship management and project support.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify new business opportunities, prospective clients and stakeholders, and follow up on opportunities assigned by the Business Director
• Manage first contact with prospective clients, initial communications and follow-ups, and help develop relationships with clients and partners
• Gather information on client needs and objectives and share insights internally
• Develop tailored presentations, credentials and supporting materials, and support the preparation of project proposals and commercial materials
• Maintain clear communication with assigned clients, coordinate their requests and escalate critical matters to the Business Director
• Support post-project relationship maintenance and identify follow-on opportunities
• Keep an up-to-date database of clients, prospects, contacts and business opportunities

Required profile

• 5 years of experience in business development, market research, consulting, account management, production or a related field
• Strong interest in live entertainment, events, experiential or cultural projects
• Good analytical, organisational and research skills, proactive attitude and good communication skills
• Strong written and spoken English; Italian is a strong advantage
• Nice to have: previous experience in live entertainment or events, international experience, and experience preparing presentations or business development materials

Required skills

• Good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
• Knowledge of other standard business tools

The position is full-time, based at the BWS Milan headquarters, with a gross annual salary of 60,000 to 70,000 euros depending on experience.
