Business Strategy Associate - Energy, Utilities and Resources

About the role

PwC's Strategy& team in Milan focuses on Energy, Utilities and Resources. It combines strategy and corporate finance capabilities to support clients from designing their industrial strategy to executing it. As an associate, you will work closely with clients on complex strategic and industrial challenges, analysing market dynamics and industry trends, assessing business performance and opportunities, and helping turn strategic ambitions into actionable initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market dynamics and industry trends, and assess business performance and strategic opportunities
• Contribute to the development of industrial and business strategies
• Help clients translate strategic ambitions into actionable initiatives and support their implementation
• Work with a variety of clients and colleagues across different projects, industries and challenges

Required profile

• Little or no prior professional experience (the offer is for Level 1 of the Italian CCNL Commercio)
• Learning mindset, taking ownership of your own development
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients from different backgrounds
• Strong communication skills and ability to gather and analyse information from many sources
• Understanding of how businesses and industries operate, with exposure to energy and industrial sectors

What we offer

• Salary of EUR 35,500-40,000 gross per year, depending on skills, qualifications and experience
• Performance-based variable pay of up to 18% of the annual base salary
