Capacity Planner

About the role

The Capacity Planner ensures that production plans are feasible by aligning customer demand with supplier and internal plant capacities. You will anticipate and manage capacity constraints to support stable, reliable and cost‑effective production planning across Stellantis' manufacturing network.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor supplier and internal production capacities within the assigned perimeter and keep capacity data up‑to‑date in relevant IT tools.
• Identify bottlenecks, capacity gaps and overrun risks, proposing mitigation actions such as capacity increases, calendar adjustments or alternative production scenarios.
• Coordinate capacity‑increase studies with Purchasing, Engineering, Supplier Quality, Plants and other key stakeholders.
• Manage capacity‑overrun situations with crisis teams, suppliers and internal partners, ensuring proper escalation and follow‑up.
• Support MPP and MPS cycles through reliable capacity inputs, feasibility checks and constraint analysis.
• Provide accurate, up‑to‑date capacity information across the assigned supplier and plant perimeter.
• Contribute to Master Production Schedule feasibility and help stabilise the end‑to‑end production plan.

Required profile

• Analytical mindset with rigor and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration, active listening and adaptability in cross‑functional, international environments.
• Ability to influence, negotiate and support fact‑based decisions.
• Proactive, pragmatic and solution‑oriented approach.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar capacity‑planning role.
• Solid understanding of supplier production constraints, industrial processes and manufacturing environments.
• End‑to‑end supply‑chain knowledge, from demand planning to production execution.
• Familiarity with planning processes such as LTP, S&OP, Budget, MPP, MPS and weekly planning.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
