Carrier Network Solution Sales Engineer Internship

About the role

Kickstart your career with Huawei Italy’s Graduate Program through a 6‑month internship focused on carrier network solutions. You will work alongside experts on end‑to‑end carrier infrastructure, including 5G/RAN, core networks, optical transport and datacom.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market and technical analysis to identify telecom operator trends and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and present carrier‑grade proposals integrating wireless, IP transport, optical transmission and cloud‑native core systems.
• Assist in preparing and delivering technical demonstrations, product presentations and solution roadmaps for large telecom operators.
• Support senior solution sales engineers with documentation, topology planning, capacity sizing and tender responses.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or current student in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field, with graduation date within ±12 months of the start.
• Strong interest in carrier network architecture (5G/4G, IP Routing/MPLS, Optical WDM, 5G Core) and presales consulting.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities, adaptability and high emotional intelligence for international team environments.
• Fluent in Italian and professional proficiency in English.
• Valid authorization to live and work in Italy.
