Civil Works & Building Superintendent

About the role

Saipem is looking for a Civil Works and Building Superintendent to join the Construction Department of the Business Line Energy Carriers on the Bioraffineria project in Livorno, Italy. You will be responsible for coordinating civil works activities, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance while collaborating with multiple engineering and construction disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, coordinate and control the execution of civil works performed by subcontractors or directly hired teams.
• Manage interfaces with all construction disciplines and engineering departments.
• Oversee availability of manpower, materials and equipment on site.
• Verify that works are carried out according to project documentation, schedule and quality standards.
• Ensure full compliance with safety procedures, corporate policies and project requirements.

Required profile

• Surveyor Diploma and/or Civil Engineering degree.
• Proven experience in a similar superintendent or site‑management role.
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level).
