Client Development Manager – Luxury Retail

About the role

The Client Development Manager will lead client engagement initiatives across the EMEA region, fostering a customer‑centric culture within Saint Laurent’s retail network. Working closely with the regional EMEA Client team, merchandising, communication and store operations, you will translate local client behaviours into actionable strategies that drive retention, recruitment and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer behaviours and market dynamics, providing actionable recommendations to optimise performance and client retention.
• Design and execute CRM strategies for diverse client segments, coordinating database selection and outreach calendars.
• Support client‑eling actions and events through financial forecasting, target selection, pre‑event analysis and post‑event evaluation.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to plan and deliver personalised client activations and experiences.
• Develop elite‑client programmes, working with the EMEA VIC Manager to upgrade and retain high‑value customers.
• Provide in‑store training on client‑eling techniques and explore third‑party partnership opportunities.
• Maintain market intelligence on competitor client‑eling activities and report insights.

Required profile

• Excellent spoken and written English and proficiency in the local language(s) of the assigned zone.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities with a proactive attitude.
• Personable communication style and ability to work independently.
• Highly articulate and precise in all forms of communication.
• Strong analytical mindset.
