Client Development Manager – Luxury Retail

About the role

The Client Development Manager will lead client engagement initiatives across the region, fostering a customer‑centric culture within Saint Laurent’s retail network. Working closely with the EMEA Client team, merchandising, communication and store operations, you will translate local client behaviours into actionable strategies that drive loyalty and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer behaviours and market dynamics to provide actionable recommendations for business performance, retention and recruitment.
• Design and execute CRM strategies for distinct client segments, coordinating database selection and calendar planning with regional teams.
• Support client‑eling actions and events through financial forecasting, target selection, pre‑event analysis and post‑event evaluation.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to plan and organise client activations, personalized gifts and experiences.
• Develop Elite business, working with the EMEA VIC Manager to retain, recruit and upgrade clients.
• Deliver in‑store training and coaching on client‑eling techniques.
• Identify partnership opportunities with third parties to enhance client activation programmes.
• Provide market intelligence on competitor client‑eling activities.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in client‑eling or CRM within the luxury industry.
• Fluent in English and the local language(s) of the assigned zone.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Proactive, personable and able to build strong relationships with elite clients.
