Clinical Specialist – MDS (North East Italy)

About the role

The Clinical Specialist MDS will support BD’s MDS portfolio across North East Italy, delivering pre‑ and post‑sales clinical assistance, education and training to physicians, nurses and technologists. The role works closely with the Clinical Manager, sales teams and distributors to ensure optimal product use and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical support for the MDS portfolio before and after sales, including troubleshooting and advisory services.
• Design and deliver in‑service training, seminars, workshops and one‑to‑one education sessions for hospital staff.
• Collaborate with sales and distributor teams as an expert advisor and troubleshooter in the field.
• Advocate best clinical practices, present clinical evidence and health‑economics analyses to customers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of BD products, competitive devices and emerging techniques.
• Ensure compliance with BD policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Build and sustain relationships with physicians, nurses, technologists and administrators.
• Support the Clinical Manager in account planning, competitive intelligence and training of new Clinical Specialists and Territory Managers.

Required profile

• Strong clinical background with experience in medical device environments.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with healthcare professionals.
• Ability to travel within the assigned geography and conduct on‑site training.
• Understanding of compliance standards and BD’s internal policies.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
