CMF Designer Internship

About the role

Italdesign, a leading automotive design and engineering company, is offering a six‑month CMF Designer internship in its Moncalieri (Turin) studio. The role is aimed at recent graduates who want to develop their colour, material and finish (CMF) design skills within an international, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of a dedicated tutor to learn the technical aspects of CMF design.
• Assist the CMF Design Department on real automotive projects, contributing to aesthetic solutions that meet customer needs.
• Create mood boards, market analyses, hand and digital sketches, and 2D renderings.
• Produce digital visualisations using industry‑standard software.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an international context.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in a design‑related field.
• Creative mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• International outlook and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good time‑management, proactive attitude, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Critical thinking and willingness to propose innovative approaches.
