Commercial Finance Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Finance Specialist to join our Financial Business Partnering team in Rome. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Supervisor, you will support the business by managing P&L, budgeting, forecasting and providing insightful performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the P&L, coordinating budget and forecast inputs across functions.
• Analyse performance versus forecast, budget and prior year, delivering insights and recommendations.
• Oversee monthly close, ensuring accurate accounting and preparation of management reports.
• Produce profitability reports, scorecards and KPI monitoring for departments such as Marketing and Fixed Cost.
• Trigger corrective actions to optimise financial performance in line with company strategy.
• Act as the primary financial contact for relevant departments, supporting business cases and ad‑hoc analyses.

Required profile

• Master’s degree, preferably in Economics or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in commercial finance or related commercial functions.
• Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and handle complex situations.
